Badagas have been considered to be of dravidian origin. The leading scholars are strongly said that the badagas are natives of Nilgiris. They were completely an indigenous. Hence they celebrate their ceremony in their own style with tribe musical troop. The miscellaneous tunes were performed by them. This is an village situated around 3 kms from kethi. The function held for more than 3 hours. The village people are welcoming the goddess chariot by performing badagas dance and they placed a white dhoti sprayed with turmeric water in front of their respective houses. The goddess chariot comes to each and every house in the village and making pooja in front of their house and give prasad to them.

Ooty train is popularly known as ' toy train ', moving across the beautiful hills, and plains, making the journey a memorable experience. Ooty's train runs at a maximum speed of 33 km. per hour, crossing 16 long and short tunnels and 250 bridges. We had a camp at Satchiananda Jothi Nikethan school, Metupalayam. Just 200 mts away from Black thunder. Made a demo of wax sculptures and metal casting for two days. The students are really interested and eager too. Atmosphere of the school is really suits for education and sports. I made a wax model of blossoming portrait nearly filled with 1.5 kg of bronze. We made our own furnace for dewaxin g and bronze casting. Had a tough time to finish it in two days but we did. And a very nice experience to teach class for school ages.
