My class

My Works Are Getting Ready

Its my recent bronze work. Welded a few bolts underneath to make a new kind of pedestal. And this is the first welding for me because i never welded my works before for any kind of repairs or alteration. My class met Mr.karuppiah introduce me the shop and he was with me to help. This was the first time i am watching the welding very close by, even i m helped the welder to hold the bolds because its mine i need to work. The welders are really so sin because they were loosing the tendency of their eyes.

Sculpture Studio's Pooja

After a small break we get in to our renovated heritage sculpture studio now at govt.college of fine arts,chennai. Here is the pooja of the studio and every one joined together in the college.

Going (well)

"The well is full now" its my home and the well became full because of the heavy rain in chennai. Now i got a chance to swim into the water well. It was so interesting, deep, enjoyable...................

I love the nature and the surrounding which surrounded by nature. I believe that i was surrounded by nature and feels full of green around me. This composition made out of flowers and buds. The nature was surrounded the men here.

Badagas Temple Ceremony

Badagas have been considered to be of dravidian origin. The leading scholars are strongly said that the badagas are natives of Nilgiris. They were completely an indigenous. Hence they celebrate their ceremony in their own style with tribe musical troop. The miscellaneous tunes were performed by them. This is an village situated around 3 kms from kethi. The function held for more than 3 hours. The village people are welcoming the goddess chariot by performing badagas dance and they placed a white dhoti sprayed with turmeric water in front of their respective houses. The goddess chariot comes to each and every house in the village and making pooja in front of their house and give prasad to them.

Ooty Locomotive Engine

Ooty train is popularly known as ' toy train ', moving across the beautiful hills, and plains, making the journey a memorable experience. Ooty's train runs at a maximum speed of 33 km. per hour, crossing 16 long and short tunnels and 250 bridges. The Queen of hill stations, Ooty is connected by rail through a narrow guage line from Mettupalayam, which is the nearest broad gauge railway station. The nearest broad gauge railway junction is Coimbatore. Towards the journey to Ooty, one can enjoy the scenic beauty of the lush green tea gardens and valleys with pine trees through the large open windows of the compartments. The Ooty train traverses 46 km in four - and -a half hours from Mettupalayam. During the journey five stations come between Mettupalayam and Coonoor - Kallar, Adderely, Hill Grove, Runnymede and Kateri, and there are five stations between Coonoor and Ooty also. Camp At Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan

We had a camp at Satchiananda Jothi Nikethan school, Metupalayam. Just 200 mts away from Black thunder. Made a demo of wax sculptures and metal casting for two days. The students are really interested and eager too. Atmosphere of the school is really suits for education and sports. I made a wax model of blossoming portrait nearly filled with 1.5 kg of bronze. We made our own furnace for dewaxin g and bronze casting. Had a tough time to finish it in two days but we did. And a very nice experience to teach class for school ages.

Just started doing a wood sculpture in the class. This is really very interesting to carve the wood. And this is my first composition in wood. Getting my shapes clearly which i expected.

I really love to play with colours. Here i am representing my inner visuals with the aspect of colours. This visual has stimulate through my inner and exposed through my hands. When i planned to start this work i thought to use a recycled material for the surface. so that i select this hand made invitation and i was balanced my colours and visuals carefully to the surface aspect.
